I came across some files I thought I had lost, and was so excited, I had to post them.
The design was created last fall for one of our territory managers, who had a presentation for a client. Because of the nature of the client’s business, we decided a bright, fun, game-board-like design would work best. And thus, Oracal Land was born.
The pieces I designed are for a coaster, which has been laminated with a skid-resistant film, and three floor-graphic panels meant to resemble parts of a board game (also using the skid-resistant laminate), shown below. We wanted bright colors and typography that was true to our brand logo, but at the same time injected a bit of fun and whimsy into the overall theme and design. This was achieved with colorful flowers and background, and the little detail touches–the dragonfly and lady bugs, for example–that make a design special.
Each piece was created in Adobe Illustrator CS5.
